Lindsay Lohan released her first single in 15 years – one year ago this month – to very positive reviews. The actress has been living in Athens, Greece since 2016 when she opened a nightclub called The Lohan Nightclub.
Lohan is an actress, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur who started out as a child star in the ’90s. Lohan has spent some time in her life in court-ordered rehab, after drug possession arrests and DUIs. She claims she has “only used cocaine maybe four or five times in my life”.
In 2018 she opened a resort on the Greek Island Mykonos called Lohan Beach House Mykonos. She later opened a second resort in Ialysos Beach, Rhodes, called Lohan Beach House Rhodes.
In summer 2018, People Magazine reported that Lohan would star in an MTV reality series, focusing on the Beach House and Lohan’s business and career ventures. The show was canceled after one season.
In 2019, Lohan was one of the panelists on the Australian edition of The Masked Singer. But in 2020, she was unable to return as a judge after travel restrictions due to COVID-19. However, some say she was let go due to issues with the co-hosts as well as not recognizing Aussie celebrities.
She is notoriously hard to work with, but some felt her lack of shame in not knowing some C-list Australian celebs was refreshing, not upsetting.
Although Lohan has had her share of trouble and may not be making any hit films these days, she is staying busy. In January, she introduced a jewelry collection inspired by her time in isolation in Dubai, which includes earrings and pendants in the shape of locks.
