Lindsay Lohan is expecting her first child.
The “Mean Girls” star announced that she is pregnant in an Instagram post on Tuesday, sharing an image of a baby onesie with “Coming soon…” written on it. The post was captioned “We are blessed and excited!”
Lohan married financier Bader Shammas in 2022.
The 36-year-old actor, who was once a tabloid mainstay, has lived overseas for several years and kept a lower public profile. Working and “being sober” is what she says drives her. Lohan had an alcohol monitoring bracelet at one point during her journey of addiction. It collected data regarding her alcohol consumption by monitoring perspiration. The device is called a SCRAM device. Lohan has tried in the past to ease some of her probation stemming from two alcohol and drug-related arrests starting in 2007 by offering to wear the device.
She recently returned to acting, starring in Netflix’s “Falling for Christmas” last year, and stars in the streaming service’s upcoming romantic comedy “Irish Wish.
Lohan has also said that the pregnancy is already “bringing her family closer together”. She refers to her parents who said they have wanted this “for so long”. Her parents split after two decades together back in 2005.
Lohan is three months pregnant. She says she wants a “balance” between being a mom and a “working” mom. She is super healthy and has a beautiful glow. She says she feels “complete”. Her relationship with her husband is described as “such a healthy place”. Lohan remains committed to her sobriety.
