Kim Zolciak files a motion to have her estranged husband drug tested amid their contentious divorce. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 44, requests that the court issue an order to compel Kroy Biermann (her husband) to “submit to a 5-panel hair follicle drug screen, and to not cut or remove any of his hair until the test is complete”.
The former Bravo personality filed the motion in a Fulton County (Atlanta) courthouse on May 17th. She shares sons KJ, 11, Cash,12, and twins Kaia and Kane,9, with the former Atlanta Falcons star Biermann, 37.
She cites a responsibility to have the father not smoke marijuana in the presence of the children and claims to have seen this happen. She is fearful the children will be exposed to his drug use while in his care. The “don’t be tardy” alum also requested that Biermann pays for the testing at “his own expense”.
Their official separation date was April 30th of this year and has been tumultuous ever since. The former NFL star requested permanent and sole custody of the kids and also requested ownership of the house. They are currently living under the same roof, but “avoiding each other”.
As their legal battle continues, they frequently take jabs at each other vis social media. Her latest Instagram post said, “My ring meant a thing”, apparently posted the same day she filed for her husband to be drug-tested.
